Day 63 - 100 days, 100 courses (Wednesday, May 15, 2019)
A perfect day to play 18. Partly sunny skies, low 70’s combined with a good golf course and a fast pace of play. Really what else could I ask for?
I moved back a set of tees to make life a little more challenging, shot an 88 and didn’t lose a ball!

Fairly challenging course. Narrow fairways that are lined with woods and occasionally water. Not a lot of elevation change but some on a couple of holes. Good test of shot making ability off the tee and 2nd shot to hole.

Nice course for the price.

This is the last of the three (3) courses before heading back up north and leaving these 66 degree days behind us.
Tradition has four (4) tees here from Gold @ 6,597yd / 72.2 / 141 down to Red @ 4,844yd / 64.4 / 113 on this rolling and tight treelined Par 36/36 layout. I was told yesterday at Rocky River GC by two (2) guys that they don't like playing the Tradition GC because it's too tight off the tee. Not only trees but well-placed fairway/greenside bunkers on almost every hole, in good locations.
I chose the Greens @ 3,067/3,139yd / 70.5 / 134 and it seemed I was always hitting uphill on my approach shots to hilltop greens. It was also "Cart Path Only" and no cart GPS with some yardage markings on the paths. The tall trees keep the "Side by Side" fairways well separated but also swirl the winds and knock down those high shots. #6 is a Par 4 with water down its complete LH side and trees RH on this 361yds length hole that looks real tight from the tee. #15, a par 3, played 142yds today and being 50'- 60' above the tee box, into the wind had me hitting my 185yd club for a two (2) putt par. Finishing up with a 507yd Par 5 with three (3) separated landing areas was a good way to cap off a beautiful 68-degree day and head back north. Ended up shooting 42/38 w/34putts. Did better on the back tees as I was getting better at hitting off the soft fairways.
